The objective is to explore the value the brand can create and deliver in the market you have selected: your brand in a new foreign market. To explore consumers needs, wants, attitudes, behaviors in the new market you could start with qualitative research. Given the fact that you are far away, be creative on how you can use in-depth interviews, focus groups, anthropological exercises. The second part of your research strategy could be to test certain hypotheses – and use quantitative research by which we measure the how the product category is perceived, which are considerable competitors and how they win – You can collect data by means of a survey.
